The Trudeau government is digging for intelligence on the role Canada’s mining sector could play in providing the United States and other key trading partners with crucial minerals and metals — from cobalt to tellurium — considered building blocks of the new economy. Natural Resources Canada plans to hire a British firm to provide pricing forecasts and analysis of global supply and demand between 2020 and 2030 for about two dozen vital minerals used in products like solar cells, permanent magnets and rechargeable batteries. Managed client requirements and designed reservoir polymer injection equipment for well pads. Coordinated engineering and fabrication of EOR oil reservoir injection equipment for deployment in western Canadian oil fields.
Upgraders, Multi-Office Execution
Directed battery limit interfaces via multi-office execution, and managed the design between the process units engineered in Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Houston and India. Coordinated Bantrel multi-discipline design interfaces with 3rd party utilities and pipelines to develop interconnection scopes, tie-ins and schedules. Managed scope, schedule, cost and quality of the interface scope, and led teams to remove ~200 remaining holds.

Managed multi-office engineering teams to complete MOC projects, numerous replacement-in-kind and small operations projects for gas gathering areas and processing plants located in AB and BC.
Tank Farms, Crude Blending
Managed the engineering design, procurement, and scheduling for the KMCT Baseline Tank Terminal (BTT) greenfield expansion project ($700M, 5M bbls storage, 700 kbbls/d transfer). Led the project’s engineering & procurement design firm in the crude blending area, crude transfer booster pumps, three metering modules and five valve manifold modules, e-house area buildings.
Pipelines, Transients, Surge Relief
Managed the engineering design, procurement, and scheduling for the KMCT Baseline Tank Terminal (BTT) greenfield expansion project ($740M, 5M bbls storage, 700 kbbls/d transfer). Led the project’s engineering & procurement design firm in the facility pipe rack modules, surge relief system, U&O, and pipe rack interfaces to the Trans Mountain PipeLine terminal and the KMC Rail Loading facility.
